摘要

In this study, the problem of linearizing equations of motion of a mechanism in the vicinity of a desired motion is firstly addressed. The linearized equations of motion of the mechanism in the steady-state usually form a set of linear differential equations having time-periodic coefficients. Numerical methods for calculating steady-state periodic vibration of the parametric vibration systems governed by linearized differential equations with time-periodic coefficients are then investigated. An efficient and global method for finding the periodic solution of the system of linear differential equations with time-periodic coefficients and its stable conditions is applied. The theoretical investigation is also demonstrated by a cam mechanism with an elastic follower.
