An experimental investigation of characteristics of combustion of mixtures of fuel(hydrogen,methane)-oxidizer(mixture of oxygen and nitrogen with [O2] =15,20.6 and 25 % (vol.),nitrous oxide)-fluorinated agent (trifluoromethane CHF3,pentafluoroethane C2HF5,perfluorobutane C4F1o) in a closed vessel was performed.Flammability limits,a maximum explosion pressure Pmax,maximum pressure rise rate (dp/dt)max and a laminar burning velocity Su were determined for various concentrations of the fuels and fluorinated agents.An active role of the fluorinated agents was found.These agents can both inhibit and promote a flame propagation.This effect depends on the concentrations of the fuels and the fluorinated agents.A qualitative explanation of the results was given.
