Fourdrinier drive requirements

摘要

This paper describes the drive requirements for a fourdrinier-type forming section of a paper machine. A typical drive system is presented to illustrate these requirements. This system is based on the individual requirements of each driven roll, thus allowing application of the drive principles presented to other types of forming sections. Special consideration is given to the drive relationship between the wire turning roll and the couch roll.
