A simple method for analyzing coplanar waveguides with rectangular and trapezoidal conductor cross-sections

A full wave analysis of coplanar waveguides (CPW) with rectangular or trapexoidal conductor cross-sections is presneted by using method of lines combined with spectral domain technique.The staircase approximation is employed to simulate the conductor profiles.Numerical results are in good agreement with published data,which verify the accuracy and efficiency of this method.
