Intersystem Interference Predictions with Applications to Land Mobile ervices Operating in the VHF/UHF Bands

摘要

An inter-service-interference (ISI) prediction model was developed to determine the interaction between the powe rspectral densities of the interferes and the desired signal. This model is intended to andle interference analysis between systems with different channel bandwidths and different modulation techniques including techniques used for digital radio. This paper addresses the use of the ISI model for land mobile radio services operating in the VHF and UHF frequency bands. It also investigates the use of different propagationprediction methods in conjunction with the ISI model.
