A Hybrid Method on Calculating EM Coupling in Large Problem Spaces

摘要

This paper establishes a method of FDTD combining with Topology networks on calculating EM coupling and transmission. A problem of EM coupling in a large scale space can be divided into some simpler questions by cutting the whole problem space into some independent sub-regions according to conducting boundaries. The scatter charecteristic of every sub-region is calculated independently using FDTD. A generalized matrix equation expressed the relations among wave vectors in every port is given. The structures of irises in wave guides are taken as numerical examples. It's useful of this method in analyzing complex systems in EMC diesigns and predictions.
