摘要

The aim of the present work is to reveal the role of superplastic (SP) deformation during formation of solid state joint (SSJ) under superplastic forming (SPF) conditions. The conducted investigations have shown that during SPF a cooperative grain boundary sliding (GBS) resulting in the appearance of surface relief occurs. The regularities of surface relief formation have been revealed and a scheme of its formation during SPF is suggested. It is shown that SSJ formation develops by groups of grains participating in cooperative GBS. It has been established that with increasing a degree of superplastic pre-deformation the quality of SSJ increases. A scheme of SSJ formation during superplastic deformation is suggested.
