Having three years commercial operation experience, DayarnBay nuclear power plant (NPP) is considering its long termrnengineering issues thanks to the experiences gained fromrnresolution of several major technical events during past 3rnyears.rnThis article aims:rn· To present the major technical events occurred at Daya Bay,rnsuch as Generator H2 leakage, condenser tubes leakage,rncontrol rod dropping time deviation, main excite rotorrndamage;rn· To introduce the long term engineering issues that DayarnBay will face and the strategy Daya Bay adopts to dealrnwith;rn· To share with the other utilities Daya Bay’s experiencesrnand concerns.
