Biaxial Dielectric Anisotropy Effects on the NRD Waveguide Directional Coupler Performance

摘要

The effects of the dielectric anisotropy on the NRD directional coupler performance have been investigated. The use of appropriate anisotropy effect can equalize the pahse velocities of the odd and even modes improving directional coupler performnace. Numerical results are presented for some common anisotropic materials.
