Next Generation Optical Access Network Architecture Options Appfications of Fujitsu's FSX 2000(DLC) and FPX 1000(PON) Systems

This paper is a discussion on next generation access network architectures.System and market trends influencing the implementation of fiber in the access network will be highlighted and Fujitsu's perception of today's network system configurations compared with future access systems application environments will be discussed.Fujitsu's product concepts and architectures will be introduced and the application of the Digital Line Carrier (DLC) and Passive Optical Network (PON) systems in differing environments will be discussed.Finally,Fujitsu's advanced optical fiber transmission product portfolio will be presented.
