摘要

One of the problems in the field of physics arid engineering of millimeter and submillimeter wave ranges is the creation of high-efficient sources of electromagnetic oscillations and element base of radiosystems. Significant success in this direction was achieved by transformating surface electromagnetic waves from various sources into volume waves with the help of special open electrodynamic systems. Within the field of electronics of extremely high frequencies (EHF) the transformation of electron beam (EB) surface waves into volume waves is realized by using the radiation effects, of which diffraction radiation, Cerenkov and transitional radiation have been widely used.
