Electron Optics in Millimeter TWTs

摘要

With the increasing compression factor of the electron gun in millimeter TWTs, the initial thermal velocity of electrons of the cathode and the non magnetic shield effects, which may not be concerned in the centimeter TWTs, no longer be neglected. This paper presents the applicable equations and diagrams on this field.
