1.Introduction Serum albumin is a kind of versatile protein and is principally characterized by its remarkable ability to bind a wide range of endogenous and exogenous compounds. Albumin nanospheres have been prepared by surface covalent pegylation[1,2] or complex coacervation with polyethylenimine induced by charge neutralization[3]. However, some methods for fabrication of synthetic polymeric spheres require multiple steps and the use of organic solvents. In this paper, bovine serum albumin-poly(acrylic acid) (BSA/PAA) nanospheres were prepared via in-situ polymerization. The BSA/PAA nanocapsules (NC-BSA/PAA) formed after swelling. The controllable drugs release properties of nanocapsules have also been investigated.
