Introduction of Computer-Based Systems in Near Future Nuclear Power Plant Control Rooms. Experiences from a Small-Scale Empirical Study

摘要

The objective of this study was to obtain practical and useful input from operators with regard to how the introduction of new technology may affect work practices; defined in terms of communication, operator teams and roles, and information overview; in near future computer-based nuclear control rooms. Several advantages and challenges with the introduction of computer-based systems in control rooms were identified, and possible ways to handle challenges that could occur were also discussed.
