An operational and Maintenance Study on Gyratory Crusher used in Mining Industries

Our country is rich in minerals. One of the important minerals is Iron ore, which is available in huge quantity and is on surface itself, i.e. over the ground―mostly in the form of hills. From centuries, one of the measuring scale of developed and developing country is their steel production capability. The Iron ore is a basic raw material used in making steel. Since we have plenty of iron ore, a huge quantity of Iron ore is being exposed to Japan, China, Korea, etc. This paper deals about the equipment named Gyratory Crusher used in processing and sizing of iron ore so that the same is made suitable for direct feed to the blast furnace to make steel.
