Inclined geosynchronous (I-GEO) communications satellite for asia pacific region

Geosynchronous orbit has many advantages especially for communication satellite application. At the same time, it has some drawbacks such as low elevation angle for the high latitude users, greater propellant weight for north south station keeping. An synchronous circular orbit with high inclination angle gives several advantages therefore unique communication services become possible. TGhis paper discusses and proposes the communications satellite with inclined geosynchronous orbit (I-GEO).
