DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF METALLICCORROSION RATE METER FOR MARINE CORROSION BASEDON VIRTUAL INSTRUMENTATION

摘要

In this paper, using a NI DAQ-6024E card and a self-made potentiostat, an instrument was setrnup to test the metal corrosion rate in seawater on the spot. By means of LabVIEW programming, thernsoftware of the instrument for waveform generating, data acquiring and data processing was developed.rnThe instrument was applied to several experiments both in the lab and in field. The results indicate thatrnthe instrument can be used to test the metal corrosion rate in the seawater credibly and conveniently.
