Expectations, Limitations and Problems in Information Security Research with Industry

This paper discusses some of the problems encountered when doing research i Information Security. It focuses on the inclusion of industry partners in information security research and discusses factors involved in joint research projects. The main emphasis is on researc for higher degrees, however much of th discussion can also be applied to research for publication. Areas of concern for researchers are discussed, and hints are also given to hilp in the research planning
