Research on Network Security System with Access Control and Intrusion Detection

摘要

A modern network security system includes protection, detection and also reaction. This paper describes a network security system based on packet filter and network intrusion detection. It solves the problem existed in most traditional intrtusion detection systems which only listen to packets passively and without active control. Also the intrusion detection improves the intelligence of the firewall with the helpful feedback. A learning based quick classification algorithm Naive-Bayesian Classifier is used to detect anomaly intrusions online.
