From the experience of the application of preflex prestressed composite beam in an urban interchange as introduced above, the following conclusions can be drown: The preflex prestressed composite beam may be applied for both skew and wide bridge in urban conditions. Loading test indicate that under normal service loads, the prefix prestressed composite structure can satisfy the requirements of usage of the above bridge types and specifications. The preflex prestressed composite beam is a kind of extra low-depth structure, it can greatly reduce the construction height of the bridge. As being applied in interchanges or bridges in crowded urban area, a great saving of construction cost may be got as compared with regardless of steel or prestressed concrete alternatives. The reduction of construction height also lead to gradient degradation of the crossed streets and ramps, it can improve the driving condition and traffic safety and further saving of travel costs. As compared with steel alternative with equal beam height, also a great cost can be saved. The construction of preflex prestressed composite structure do not need extra construction site and during the construction, the traffic under the bridge or interchange would not be disturbed, for construction of urban bridges or interchanges located in crowded area, this is a prominent advantage.
