Secular growth change of children and adolescents in urban areas of China (1975-2005)

@@ Introduction: With the aims to explore the effects of the socio-economic change of China during the past 30 years on children's growth and development, the present study analyzed the changes of some growth parameters of children and adolescents in urban areas of China from 1975 to 2005. Methods: All of the data were obtained from the previous reports of the Chinese National students' physical fitness and health survillances (once five years). 7-22-y-old students were involved.
