NDT is growing very fast and encompassing the complete industrial sector.rnNew and newer techniques are developed and techniques, machines andrnprocedures strive for the most reliable results.rnOf course, in any NDT, the meaningful NDT results can only be obtained ifrnthere are :rn1. Calibrated machinesrn2. Correct proceduresrn3. Qualified manpower.rnIn absence of any single element of the above three, NDT becomesrnmeaningless.rnThis paper deals with personnel qualifications in NDT and focuses on thernimportance of NDT Examiners in NDT Exam system. In any exam system thernappropriately designed exam system and efficient implementation of thernsystem will give the correct results. In the present international scenario,rnthe effective system generation is in progress everywhere. However tornimplement the system effectively we should have a strong force of NDTrnExaminers knowledgeable, capable and demanding. The word demanding is veryrnimportant here .Unless, one demands the improvement does not comernautomatically.
