The Emission Acoustic Signals Registration for the Materials Brittleness Estimation

The device based on the registration of the acoustic emission signals underconcentrated load action (microindentation and scratching) has beenproposed. The possibilities of this apparatus for the non-destructivetesting of the materials mechanical properties (strength and brittleness)and of the influence of various factors (preliminary deformation,temperature, aging, corrosion, etc.) on these parameters have been shown.
