Application of Acoustic Emission Method for Materials, Processes and Technologies Monitoring

摘要

The results of a study of the mechanism and kinetics of metallic materialfracture (dual phase steels, binary Zr-2,5Nb and multicomponental Zr-1,2Sn-1Nb-0,3Fe alloys, multifilamentary Nb_3 Sn and Nb-Ti based superconductors andHTSC-based composition wires) are given. The quantity fracture analysis isbased on measurements of acoustic impulse peak (maximum) amplitudes by nonresonancesensors for linear measurement of acoustic shifts and crackparameters measurement. The developed methods of absolute calibration of AEequipment were checked by testing various types of materials and crackparameter measurements in laps and fractures. The calibration dependenciesfor quantity measurements are shown. The possibilities of AE for qualityanalysis and for characterizing of materials in the process of variousmechanical tests and in the process of pressure processing with the help ofa developed experimental computerized AE system are demonstrated.
