Ultrasonic Characterization of Intermetallics

摘要

Ultrasonic absorption in GdP and GdAs has been calculated at lowtemperatures from 2K to 80K. Ultrasonic attenuation due to electron-phononinteraction affected with electrical resistivity and elastic parameters isvery small as compared to pure metals and temperature dependence ofabsorption is of the same nature as in pure metals except some anomalouskinks.
