摘要

a primary objective in the development of a Navigation System is to test the effectiveness of its algorithms together with their capability of operating realtime. Thus a Virtual Laboratory has been developed to simulate the main features of general aviation aircraft sensors and their interface to the on board computer. Some features regarding the DIAS ground segment have also been included to test integrity algorithms that are part of the architecture conceived for the FODIAS project. Realism in the simulated environment guarantees higher reliability about the performances obtainable in simulation, and confidence about repeatability of results during real flight tests, drastically reducing the cost of development.
