This work presents a new simulation method for the analysis and design of bandpass filters based on Thin Film Resonators (TFRs). The method is based on linear two-port network theory and can be applied for of ladder filters in general. Analytical equations for the case of TFR ladder filters are extracted by the proper modeling of the TFR.
