摘要

In this paper, we propose a novel structure for suppressing simultaneous switching noise in printed circuit board using Electromagnetic band gap structure (EBG). Ground bounce noise (GBN) suppression has become the major issue during the design of the mixed signal circuits. The proposed EBG structure is designed on the basis of periodic L Bridge cell, which is inserted by a small L with a slot where the port is located. L-Bridge EBG structure with slit is one of the best EBG to suppress GBN over UWB frequency range. The simulation using HFSS and measurement results for this structure cover a wide range from 300 MHz to 10 GHz.
