Immobilized state of organic bases anchored on mesoporous materials and their catalyticrnactivities in Knoevenagel condensation between ethylcyanoacetate and benzaldehyde werernstudied. Imidazole catalyst immobilized on KIT-1 disordered mesoporous material withrnthree-dimensional channels showed sufficient activity for repeated use.
