NAV2500TM is the next generation GPS/WAAS receiverrnfrom Accord.rnBased on the enhanced Soft-CorrelatorTM, the receiver isrndesigned around a single high performance fixed pointrngeneral purpose Digital Signal Processor (DSP) fromrnAnalog Devices and a standard Radio Frequency downrnconverter. The receiver features increased availability ofrnthe GPS solution by means of improved speed of signalrnacquisition and reacquisition along with enhanced signalrntracking sensitivity. The 12 channel GPS/WAASrncorrelator and the navigation module are both realizedrnusing a single DSP to offer the performance demanded byrna whole new generation of hand held, wireless computing,rnautomotive and timing applications.rnThe receiver can be configured to track SBAS signals.rnThis generation of receivers feature better TTFFrnperformance and much lower power consumptionrncharacteristics over the NAV2300 from Accord.rnNAV2500TM employs a configurable in-built softdemodulatorrnto decode MSK DGPS signals fromrnBeacons. The receiver can also be used as an accuraterntiming reference, which can be utilized in a variety ofrnsynchronization applications. The software NumericallyrnControlled Oscillator (NCO) in the receiver which isrnsynchronized with the GPS epoch can be programmed torngenerate frequencies ranging from 100Hz to 10MHz. Therntiming unit of the receiver is driven by an inexpensiverncrystal.
