Anticlastic core structures feature a periodic array of upwardly and downwardly projectingcells similar to egg-box structures.The face sheets are therefore only supported in a quasicontinuousmanner which creates a strong interaction between the cell spacing and the face sheetpuncture resistance.Using newly-developed Lode angle dependent damage indicator model for theface sheets,the effect of the geometry of the anticlastic core structure on the puncture resistanceis investigated.
