ANALYSIS OF A FILTER CAKE FROM Cr-CONTAMINATED SITE REMEDIATION

A unique technique for remediation of heavy metal contaminated sub-surfaces was developed by the former chairs of Waste Treatment Technologies and Landfilling & Waste Processing Technology and Waste Management of the Montanuniversitat Leoben, Austria. In the course of the project "ChromSan - Further investigations concerning in-situ remediation", this innovative technique is tested at a chromium contaminated site in Klagenfurt, Austria and is a patent pending process. The described project is a cooperation between the Montanuniversitat Leoben and the spin-off company ferroDecont GmbH.
