摘要

For the purpose of sustaining stress and strain uniformity in a clay specimen, the authors have developed a strain path controlled mini-triaxial test apparatus. The shear behaviors and water content distributions within clay specimens between strain path controlled test and conventional undrained/drained tests were compared, followed by demonstrating that the strain path controlled test was a real element one.
