Software Development for Acceptance Sampling According to the ISO 2859 Standard

Acceptance sampling for attributes is a very important and well-known quality control in production processes. In the numerous Greek SMEs it is usually held using sampling plans that are determined by ELOT 398.0 - 398.1 standards, which are equivalent to ISO 2859.rnMoreover, nowadays, in order for companies to establish themselves or to expand in the extremely competitive market, their executives should be capable of making the right decisions, at the appropriate time. For this purpose and specifically for the collection, analysis, record keeping and distribution of information, personal computers and any kind of software are considered necessary tools.rnIn our study, we present the software that was developed for both the facilitation of the acceptance sampling for attributes of the acquired raw materials - semi-finished - finished products of any production process, and the integrated management of relative information. The basic rules of acceptance sampling are first mentioned, then the objectives that were sought to achieve via the software are cited and finally some indicative software options are presented.
