The need for companies to swiftly anticipate and react to necessary structural and information systems changes is constantly getting more important with business and innovation cycles becoming shorter. However, there has only been limited research into this area in the context of organizational transformation. This paper introduces a practice-proven approach for deriving the required target skills, gauging their impact on the bottom line and prioritizing training measures thereupon. We close with presenting the know-how-transfer model that has been developed at norisbank AG describing the prioritization of the required skills in more detail.
