Collaborative Spam Filtering with Multi-Agent System

摘要

Email has become one of the most widely used methods of communication. However, spam problem has brought enormous cost for the companies or users that use Internet. In this paper, we propose a collaborative learning algorithm to detect spam. By using the agent-based approach, a multi-agent-based system is constructed to interoperate different node within a distributed, collaborative and concurrent environment. The experimental results show that the proposed collaborative learning algorithm has a better performance than individual filtering method.
