Acoustical Wave Propagator (AWP), which is an efficient time domain calculation method in computational acoustics, was first proposed by Pan and Wang in 2000. Since then, much research has been conducted to use this method to analyze the acoustic wave evolution in time domain. However, the implementation of AWP does not include any sound source, which limits its application only in investigating the acoustic wave evolution with some specific initial sound field distribution. In this paper, the sound source is introduced in AWP with some proper modification of the calculation scheme. A satisfied computational accuracy is gotten in the simulation. Also, absorbing boundary condition is considered to ensure the effective application of AWP containing sound source.
