This study demonstrated a single substrate bistable cholesteric liquid crystal display fabricated by the photo-polymerisation induced phase separation (PIPS) method. In this paper, we discussed the influence of surface treatment and process conditions on PIPS, and improve the reflectivity of single substrate Ch-LC display.
