Fabrication of Passive Matrix Driven 3.5-inch QVGA Bistable Chiral Splay Nematic Display

摘要

The bistable chiral splay nematic display is one of most promising memory mode in that it can be operated as dynamic and memory mode in a single mode. In this paper, we developed fabrication process of QVGA bistable chiral splay nematic (BCSN) panel and passive matrix driving scheme. We also demonstrated the 3.5-inch QVGA passive matrix BCSN display with excellent memory characteristics.
