White Phosphorescent OLED Lighting: A Green Technology

摘要

A 15 cm × 15 cm white PHOLED lighting panel with 50 Im/W efficacy, CRI = 85, CCT = 2910 K and LT70 ≈ 10,000 hrs at 1,000 cd/m~2 is presented. The panel uses a simple device stack with only 6 organic layers and employs light extraction fixtures that maintain an attractive thin form factor. We also present a white PHOLED pixel with 113 Im/W efficacy, CRI = 50, CCT = 3010 K and LT70 ≈ 10,000 hrs. A highly stable light blue phosphorescent emitter is used to maximize efficacy, extend operational lifetime and demonstrate exceptional color stability with aging.
