摘要

ACB (Air Circuit Breaker) is required to interrupt the arc quickly and clearly in order to minimize the damage of accident to the power system. The polymer such as POM or PTFE is used for the nozzle of ACB. The nozzle ablates caused by the heat and radiation of the arc in the case of current interruption. In this paper, the 3-D electromagnetic thermal fluid simulation considering the ablation from the nozzle in ACB is developed. The material of the nozzle is POM in this simulation. As a result, the 3-D temperature, ablation gas concentration and electrical conductivity distributions were obtained.
