Impact of agroforestry on socio-economic conditions of farmers in Munger District of Bihar

The socio-economic condition of agroforester farmers and non-agroforester farmers of Devghara, Shivnagar and Thapa villages of Tarapur Block of Munger District, Bihar were studied by using participatory rural appraisal technique, It was found that farmers raising different crops under agroforestry systems were economically better and self sufficient in timber firewood and fodder.
