'Nelson Star': New but traditionally styled 18 metre FRP lobster fisher from Badenach Enterprises

Tasmania's Badenach Enterprises has recently launched another highly successful and professional fishing vessel, the rock lobster fisher 'Nelson Star', from the company's Smithton yard in September 2012. Built for business owner George Badenach for his own use, the vessel measures 18.3 metres in length overall, with a beam of 5.2 metres and a draught of 1.6 metres. A Yanmar 6HA2 engine powers the vessel, attaining a top speed of 11.7 knots and a cruising speed of 9.2 knots.
