WIDGEON TO THE RESCUE

The Grumman G-44 'Widgeon' represents a typical, twin-engined amphibian of the early 1940s. With their ElectriFly brand, Great Planes have honoured this classic aeroplane with a manageable size ARF version with a nice fibreglass fuselage. In my eyes the ElectriFly Widgeon has only one mistake - it comes in the wrong paint scheme! The following report shows how to convert the ElectriFly Widgeon into a lightweight US Coast Guard J4F rescue plane with striking yellow wings and some extra gimmicks.
