A Decade of ELECTRIC FUN!

These days, a decade is a long run for anything and when it comes to special anniversaries, hitting the 10-year mark is definitely cause for celebration! Without a doubt, Electric Flight magazine has enjoyed an interesting history well worth remembering. When it first hit the newsstands in 2002 (under the title Backyard Flyer), we were all very excited to produce the first modeling publication especially dedicated to the "Fly Anywhere, Anytime" mindset. Like our sister publication, Model Airplane News (first published in 1929), our new all-electric magazine was in the right spot at the right time to ride the growing wave of new developments and technologies surfacing in the RC hobby industry.
