This study analyzed the operation of shared right-turn lane in mixed traffic environment and investigated its vehicle delay. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the delay model, green phase is divided into three intervals according to the recognition of different vehicle discharge patterns. Then, the vehicle-bicycle interference mechanism of mixed traffic flow at the intersection is analyzed and combined with probability and gap acceptance theory, which has been widely applied in previous studies. Then, the duration and the vehicle discharge rate of each interval are determined. The simulation results show that there is a small deviation between simulation and calculation, which proves that the established model can accurately test the effect of the influencing factors especially right-turn proportion and bicycle arrival rate on vehicle delay. The proposed method for vehicle delay estimation can also provide the theoretical basis for delay and capacity analysis under more complicated conditions.
