This paper describes the possible validation techniques applicable to assess the validation ofrnHuman Damage in Building Fire Model given the boundary conditions of lack of data and lack ofrnexperts with overall knowledge of the system. The scope of the validation studies is to check thernchoice of the experts for building up and quantifying the model, the completeness of the model, thernsensitivity analysis of the model's outcome and the convergence of the model's results.rnSeveral validation studies will be described into more details. Each of the studies serves at least one ofrnthe validation issues mentioned above. Together, the results of the studies are aimed not at obtaining arnvalid model, but rather at increasing the confidence in the performance of the model and atrnunderstanding the limitations in its applicability.
