    • 摘要: Background:Public health guidelines have called for innovative and flexible physical activity(PA)intervention strategies to promote PA and health amid the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.Therefore,this study’s purpose was to examine the effects of a home-based,YouTube-delivered PA intervention grounded in self-determination theory on young adults’free-living PA,sedentary behavior,and sleep quality(NCT04499547).Methods:Sixty-four young adults(48 females;age=22.8±3.4 years,mean±SD;body mass index=23.1±2.6 kg/m^(2))were randomized(1:1)into the intervention group,which received weekly aerobic and muscle-strengthening PA videos,or control group,which received weekly general health education videos,for 12 weeks.Our primary outcome was free-living moderate-to-vigorous PA(MVPA)and our secondary outcomes were sedentary behavior,light PA,and sleep quality(measured using ActiGraph accelerometers)along with muscle-strengthening PA frequency,self-determination theory-related motivation(non-regulation,external regulation,introjected regulation,identified regulation,integrated regulation,and intrinsic regulation),and perceived PA barriers(assessed using validated questionnaires).Repeated measures analysis of variances(ANOVAs)examined between-group differences at an adjusted significance level of 0.004 and effect sizes as partial eta-squared(η;).Results:We observed statistically significant interaction effects for MVPA,sleep efficiency,muscle-strengthening PA frequency,non-regulation,integrated regulation,intrinsic regulation,and perceived PA barriers(F(1,62)=10.75-77.67,p<0.001-0.002,η_(p)^(2)=0.15-0.56)with all outcomes favoring the intervention group.We observed no statistically significant differences in either group for sedentary behavior,light PA,sleep duration,or external,introjected,and identified regulations after 12 weeks(F(1,62)=1.11-3.64,p=0.06-0.61).Conclusion:With national COVID-19 restrictions still in place and uncertainty regarding post-pandemic PA environments and behaviors,a remote,YouTube-delivered PA intervention may help foster clinically meaningful improvements in young adults’free-living MVPA,musclestrengthening PA frequency,sleep efficiency,PA-related intrinsic motivation,and perceived PA barriers.

    • 摘要: This paper examines dependencies of voice and video contents on human perception of group (or inter-destination) synchronization error in remote learning by Quality of Experience (QoE) assessment. In our assessment, we use two videos and three voices (two voices for one video and one voice for the other video). We also investigate influences of silence periods in the voices and temporal relations between the voices and videos (called the tightly-coupled and loosely-coupled contents here). The voices are spoken by a teacher according to the videos. Each subject as a student assesses the group synchronization quality by watching each lecture video and the corresponding explanation voice, and then the subject answers whether he/she perceives the group synchronization error or not. As a result, assessment results illustrate that silence periods mitigate the perception rate of the error, and we can also find that we can more easily perceive the error for tightly-coupled contents than loosely-coupled ones.

    • 摘要: The integration of theatre art with media such as video,the Internet and metaverse embodies intermediality and shows interactivity characteristics.Video is the first to open the possibility of interaction between performers and stage space in the theatre,thus greatly expanding the relationship between people and video in the links of environment,atmosphere,narrative,action and conflict,making stage performance more flexible and changeable.The rapid rise of computer technology represented by the Internet provides two interactive modes of node structure and natural language for digital theatre performance,opening the path for the audience to participate in theatre interaction.The metaverse media environment represented by video games and virtual reality has dramatically changed the freedom of audience participation in theatre.“Digital embodiment”enables the audience to immerse themselves in virtual theatre performance and become a part of theatre composition,thus bringing unprecedented performance experience.

    • 摘要: BACKGROUND It remains unclear whether video aids can improve the quality of bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR).AIM To summarize simulation-based studies aiming at improving bystander CPR associated with the quality of chest compression and time-related quality parameters.METHODS The systematic review was conducted according to the PRISMA guidelines.All relevant studies were searched through PubMed,EMBASE,Medline and Cochrane Library databases.The risk of bias was evaluated using the Cochrane collaboration tool.RESULTS A total of 259 studies were eligible for inclusion,and 6 randomised controlled trial studies were ultimately included.The results of meta-analysis indicated that video-assisted CPR(V-CPR)was significantly associated with the improved mean chest compression rate[OR=0.66(0.49-0.82),P<0.001],and the proportion of chest compression with correct hand positioning[OR=1.63(0.71-2.55),P<0.001].However,the difference in mean chest compression depth was not statistically significant[OR=0.18(-0.07-0.42),P=0.15],and V-CPR was not associated with the time to first chest compression compared to telecommunicator CPR[OR=-0.12(-0.88-0.63),P=0.75].CONCLUSION Video real-time guidance by the dispatcher can improve the quality of bystander CPR to a certain extent.However,the quality is still not ideal,and there is a lack of guidance caused by poor video signal or inadequate interaction.

    • 摘要: Because of the rapid growth of head-mounted displays and 5G networking deployment,360-degree video has become increasingly popular.To generate the real experience of a virtual environment,360-degree videos require an ultrahigh resolution and frame rate to cover an omnidirectional view.These two prerequisites impose challenges for the transmission bandwidth and storage capacity of 360-degree video streaming.To reduce bandwidth and storage waste while providing a good immersive experience,we propose an optimized viewport-adaptive 360-degree video streaming method using high-efficiency video coding tiling,motion-constrained tile sets and MPEG dynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP spatial relationship description.The paper describes the rigorous design of the optimized system,which can assign different bitrates to different tiles in the viewport.The experimental results show that the proposed streaming system compares favourably with existing methods in terms of bitrate savings and storage capacity reduction.
