摘要

Water-soluble CdSe nanoparticles with cubic phase and narrow photoluminescent emission have been synthesized in aqueous solution with the assistance of citric acid (CA) molecules by a microwave irradiation method. This synthesis process was so rapid that the CdSe nanoparticles were obtained within just a few minutes. The size and optical properties of the CdSe nanoparticles were well controlled by the CA molecules.
