Synthesis process of quantum dots of CdSe in aqueous solution. # The present invention relates to a method of synthesis of quantum dots of CdSe in aqueous medium from salts of Cd and presence of a mercapto acid is in, so that controlling reaction conditions quantum dots are obtained with higher fluorescence and greater stability than those obtained by methods in organic media. Also, the present invention relates to quantum dots obtainable by this process having a nanocorteza of a compound of Cd which contributes to the advantageous properties of these particles. These quantum dots, are suitable for use as fluorescent markers in biological and biomedical applications.
